Day 1: Durban - Private Game Reserve, KwaZulu-Natal
You will be met and transferred by road from the international airport in Durban to your tented camp in the KwaZulu-Natal bush. The camp is set in a private game reserve which is home to Big Five game as well as other fascinating wildlife.
Enjoy the peace and tranquility of your surroundings. Depending on your time of arrival, you could have lunch, take a dip in the pool or have a siesta before an afternoon game viewing activity. The tented camp is a 15 minute Land Rover transfer from the main camp and wellness centre.
Day 2 & 3: Private Game Reserve, KwaZulu-Natal
The next 2 days will unfold at your own pace. You can arrange your time around spa sessions, delicious meals, game activities and a range of optional excursions into the surroundings, such as a Cultural Village visit, marine activities, tours, hiking and canoeing.
Game drives take place in the early morning and late afternoon and are conducted in open-topped Land Rovers, with a maximum of 6 guests per vehicle. In the reserve, you could see Elephant, Rhino, Lion, Buffalo and Leopard, as well as Cheetah, Wild Dog and Hyena.
Guided bush walks are a great way to get close to nature and discover details which are overlooked on drives. Your Zulu Hideaway also includes a delightful couple's treatment in the spa.
You'll enjoy a private and romantic hydrotherapy bath and be given an African body scrub that you can apply onto one another. Your intimate spa session continues with a hot stone massage and a head massage for top to toe relaxation.
