Game Drives

Game drives are conducted from open, custom built, 10 seater safari vehicles. Guests on this South Africa spa vacation are allocated a dedicated ranger on arrival who will remain with you for the duration of your stay. This provides guests with a more intimate and exclusive game viewing experience, as well as allowing the ranger to understand your particular interests and requirements.

Tswana and Zulu dancing experience

Mixing old and modern African dance styles and making use of a traditional healer or Sangoma, stick fighters and gumboot dancers, this is an exciting fusion dance show. The gumboot dances developed in the mines as a way of communicating and is an integral part of South African History.

Marimba Band

Enjoy the soothing sounds of an African Marimba Band on your spa holiday – a traditional xylophone made of wood which creates a wonderful earthy sound.

Interactive Drumming

Enjoy interactive drumming sessions, these allow you to find your rhythm. There needs to be a minimum of 5 participants to enjoy these sessions which are based on ancient forms of communication.

Birding Safaris

These are conducted by a specially trained guide who will help you spot the over 280 bird species in the reserve.

Family Safaris

As children under the age of 6 are not permitted on game drives the lodge can arrange shorter bush bumbles which are more aimed at children. These shorter game drives will focus on the smaller bush animals.
