Sediba guests have a choice of 2 different lodge choices for Limpopo spa accommodation. Letlapa, the “rock lodge” has 10 double suites for up to 20 guests. Letlapala meaning “place of the sun” is the more intimate, with only 5 double guest suites which can accommodate up to 10 guests.
You can enjoy candle-lit dinners on the viewing deck or around the fire in the traditional boma (outdoor shelter) at Letlapa, the main lodge. It is known to be the more spectacular and also has a room for disabled guests. Each of the suites features a cosy fireplace for the cooler evenings and a private terrace with a built in Jacuzzi.
Each lodge has inviting reception areas with comfortable furniture. They have well stocked bars, and there is an excellent wine cellar and a curio shop at the main lodge. Both lodges have a small library filled with interesting books and animal reference guides, and beautiful pools that are perfect for a refreshing dip. All of Sediba’s spa facilities are available to guests staying at either of the 2 lodges.
Letlapa Lodge has a unique boma. These structures or meeting places are usually built of wood, but at this lodge, giant rocks have been used to create the lapa, and the firelight at night creates stunning effects on the walks as if you are in an African cave.
