Kapama Game Reserve in Limpopo is one of the biggest Big Five game reserves in the Greater Kruger National Park. Guests are assured of a fabulous Safari Spa destination with an exclusive Kapama Wellness Centre, 2 luxurious lodges and 2 tranquil tented safari camps.
The luxury Kapama Wellness Centre is a purpose built Safari Lodge Health Spa on the edge of a waterhole that is frequented by numerous game species including Elephant. This superb position, together with sublime architectural design concepts offers guests a once in a lifetime experience.
Kapama Game Reserve is located within a few minutes of Eastgate Airport near Hoedspruit, and can be reached via a 1 hour flight or a 4 and a half hour drive from Johannesburg. The Wellness Centre is part of Kapama River Lodge, one of the lodges within the reserve.
Kapama Wellness Centre
This Safari Lodge Health Spa provides a dedicated space for rejuvenation of mind, body and soul.
Spacious decks and gazebos appear to float on the infinity rim pools. Guests here have the rare pleasure of enjoying a blissful massage while viewing game at the waterhole.
The peace and African stillness of Kapama Game Reserve is the perfect background for relaxation and exotic treatments with tried and trusted skincare and body products. The Spa treatment menu is designed to enhance all the senses and refresh and renew from head to toe.
There is also a fully equipped gym with all the latest cardio and weight training facilities. The training room is fully air-conditioned and has large picture windows and views of the bushveld.
Signature treatments
The Kapama Marula Steam Treatment (2 hours):
This is a relaxing and rejuvenating Rasoul treatment for up to 4 people. Nourishing body butters are used to cover the whole body in this purpose built private room followed by steam and massage. The treatment includes:
Scrub 10 minutes, wrap 20 minutes, steam 30 minutes and massage 60 minutes.
Kapama Pinotage Bliss (2 hours and 15 minutes)
This is a unique treatment which combines deep body massage and a wine bath with hydrotherapy using vine extracts for detoxification. This treatment includes:
Scrub 15 minutes, massage and mini facial 60 minutes, bath 20 minutes, scalp massage 20 minutes and pedicure 20 minutes.

These are arranged to take place between morning and evening game drives.
Half Day (2 hours)
There are two options which include a welcome drink and imported chocolate:
Relaxing – facial, scalp massage, reflexology
Nourishing – full body massage, African handprint ritual
Full Day (4 hours)
There are 4 options which include a welcome drink, tot of Amarula (South African liqueur) and imported chocolate.
