Take the R44 in the direction of Paarl
Before the Klapmuts intersection turn right on the road leading to Backsburg and Glen Carlou estates. Distance so far approx. 14.7 km (9 miles) to Backsburg / Glen Carlou turn-off
Travel for 3.2km (2 miles) and look out for Glen Carlou estate on the right
Continue for approx 0.8km (0.4 miles) over the rise and turn left at the next road
This is sign posted as Simonsvlei Road. Follow the gravel road for approx 2.4km (1.5 miles) until you reach the entrance gate of the Sante Hotel, Resort and Spa on the right. Proceed to the security gatehouse and the staff will make contact with the marketing office
From Cape Town
Take the N1 in the direction of Paarl
Take the off-ramp R44 Stellenbosch / Klapmuts
At the stop turn right onto R44 in the direction of Stellenbosch
Continue for 0.7km (0.4 miles) to the 4-way intersection (old Paarl road)
Drive through the intersection heading towards Stellenbosch
Travel 0.4km (0.2 miles) over a bridge and turn left at following road, Backsburg / Glen Carlou
Drive for 3.2km (2 miles) and look out for Glen Carlou estate on the right
Continue for approx 0.8km (0.4 miles) over the rise and turn left at the next road
