Sediba Private Game Lodge is located in the malaria-free South African Welgevonden Game Reserve, home to over 350 different animals, including the iconic Big Five.
Sediba Private Game Lodge is located in the malaria-free Welgevoden Game Reserve which lies approximately 3,5 hours from the city of Johannesburg (and OR Tambo International airport). We can arrange a private transfer for you or help you with your vehicle hire. The choice is yours, but travelling by road is not your only option.
Sediba also has a helicopter landing pad on-site, but if you would prefer to arrive by charter plane, we can certainly arrange that for you, too. From the airstrip, it takes approximately 20 minutes’ drive to the lodge. As you travel through the reserve, you’ll get a closer look at its magnificent sandstone buttresses and bushveld hills with baobab, marula and fever trees. Welgevonden is Dutch for “well-found”, and there’s no better way to describe this rugged beauty.
