Zulu Camp at Shambala Game Reserve offers you indulgent Limpopo spa accommodation where your every need will be catered for. The traditional African inspired chalets sleep up to 16 guests and are a study in contrasts with their natural, stark construction set against the sumptuous French-African inspired decor.
The suites are very comfortable and have their own beautifully appointed en-suite bathrooms with an outdoor shower for a truly romantic African experience. The rooms are lavishly furnished and decorated with a mix of African and French elements. Each cottage is separated by a tranquil stream that runs to the river creating a soothing atmosphere on your safari spa holiday.
The entrance to the camp is built in a traditional Zulu manner, and this leads into a lapa or gathering area where guests can relax around a campfire. The main reception rooms consist of a bistro area and bar which overlook a rock pool which is down by the river; this is great for an afternoon dip after a soothing massage at the Shambala Spa.
There is also a comfortable lounge area where guests can relax with a good book, or just enjoy the view. Every evening a campfire is lit in the lapa area and guests can gather and discuss the day’s sightings. Dinner is served on 2 generous long wooden tables in the dining room.
