This safari spa in Kruger National Park, South Africa provides an idyllic position in prime Big Five game viewing territory. Singita Lebombo is situated in a private concession. on 33,000 acres in the south eastern reaches of the Kruger National Park on South Africa’s border with Mozambique. It is home to abundant flora and fauna and has one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in the region including many Lions. The camp is about a 6 hour drive from Johannesburg and about 3.5 hours from Hazyview.
Directions to Singita Lebombo
By Air
All flights land at the Satara airstrip located 45 minutes from the lodge. You will be met by a lodge representative and transported to the lodge in a closed air-conditioned vehicle
By Road
From Johannesburg
- Take the N12/N4 to Nelspruit
- Then take the R40 from Nelspruit to Hazyview
- Take the R536 from Hazyview towards Paul Kruger gate
- There is a cash entrance fee payable at the gate per person and per vehicle.
- Follow the H11 towards Skukuza for 12 km (7.5miles)
- Head north on the H1-2 towards Satara, until you reach the H6 approximately 84 km(52miles)
- This turn-off is 3 km (1.8miles) south of Satara
- Turn right here and then follow the road to the N’wanetsi Picnic site about 19 km (11.7miles)
- Turn left at the T-junction where you see the Singita signpost
- Alternatively, you can take the gravel road S37 (Trichard Road) 13 km north of Tshokwane towards N’wanetsi. This saves about 40 minutes driving. Please make sure that you have reached the lodge before the gate closure time which is 17:30 during the winter months
- Approximate travelling time from the Paul Kruger gate will be three hours (speed limit 50km / hour on tarred roads, 40km / hour on gravel roads)
