Day 1: Fly to Kruger
Today you fly from Johannesburg O.R. Tambo International Airport to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport. You will be met and transferred to the lodge which takes about 90 minutes by road.
Once you have arrived and been welcomed, you will have time for lunch and refreshments before the afternoon game drive. You'll return to the lodge which overlooks the Lwakahle River. Enjoy the views from the raised walkways and decks.
Day 2 - 3: On safari in Kruger
Every day in this private wilderness is a new adventure. Game drives set off at dawn and dusk daily so that you can enjoy a full game viewing experience. After brunch, guided bush walks are offered which will give you a really different and detailed perspective on your surroundings.
Enjoy leisure time between game viewing activities and take advantage of some of the lodge's excellent facilities. Enjoy an element of surprise at the lodge, as changing venues for meals are part of the fun.
You could have breakfast in the bush, lunch around the pool and a glamorous candlelit dinner on the wooden decks or in the fire lit boma (outdoor enclosure).
Day 4: Travel to Benguerra Island in Mozambique
After breakfast, you will be transferred to a local airstrip for your charter flight to Vilanculos, Mozambique. You will be met and transferred by air to your island resort & spa which takes about 10 minutes.
On arrival, you will be welcomed and settled into your beach villa so you can prepare for your first spa treatment. Your spa package begins with a traditional African ritual and includes a refreshing body polish followed by a nurturing body wrap.
Afterwards, you can relax on the spa deck and take in the magnificent ocean views over refreshments. Dinner is always special and you could enjoy sumptuous cuisine by candlelight on the beach.
Day 5 - 6: Island life
The sounds of the sea will greet you as you wake each day on your relaxing spa holiday. Breakfast is to order in the restaurant and lunch could be a casual affair at the lodge or you can set off with a beach picnic.
Over the next 2 days you can arrange your time around your spa treatments and the resort activities. At the spa, you will enjoy a facial and a sensory massage.
